Therapy With Jess

About Therapy With Jess
I am a UK based therapist who specialises in working with anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts and trauma.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy to help with your anxiety, OCD or intrusive thoughts, I’m guessing you’ve felt like this for a long time but always put it down to ‘just being a anxious person’ or ‘being a worrier’.
Specialised anxiety & OCD therapy with me can help you let go of compulsions and safety behaviours, accept uncertainty and get back to enjoying your life.

You deserve a life that isn't just focused on coping and managing

The goal of anxiety and OCD therapy is not to be ‘distress free‘ or ‘anxiety free‘. Anxiety is something we will encounter in life.
But what we can do is learn to work with it, to take anxiety out of the driving seat. My clients come to me when they realize they don’t want to spend the rest of their lives feeling out of control and ruled by anxiety and OCD.
By working together and using evidence based therapies like Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) and Acceptance And Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Skills (CBT) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (I-CBT) you’ll learn to respond differently to obsessional thoughts and doubts and live a meaningful life.
